**NEW – Claims Process for Quebec Opioid Class Action Settlement**
On December 22, 2025, settlements totalling $31.4 million were approved by the Superior Court of Quebec in order to resolve a class action alleging that the manufacturers of opioids failed to sufficiently warn of risks associated with their opioid products and made misrepresentations regarding the safety and efficacy of opioid products.
Consumer Law Group is representing victims in the settlement claims process. Our team is equipped and prepared to help you navigate the procedure resulting in a successful claim.
In order to qualify for compensation, you must:
1. be a Quebec resident;
2. have been prescribed and have taken (or are taking) one or more Eligible Opioid(s) [as identified in Schedule C-1] since January 1, 1996; and
3. have been diagnosed with, or treated for, Opioid Use Disorder.
You may also qualify for compensation if you are a direct heir of a deceased person who is entitled to compensation.
The amount that will be paid to eligible claimants will be unknown until after the end of the claims period. The claims deadline is July 31, 2026, so you will need to act fast.
We will also need to accumulate medical, pharmaceutical, and other documentation to maximize the potential success of your claim, which takes time to request and receive – so again, time is of the essence.
To validate your eligibility and start the process of filing a claim, do not hesitate; please fill out the form below.
Kindly note that providing your information creates no financial obligation for you. Our law firm is paid a contingency fee from the compensation recovered, only if your claim is successful. All information contained in this transmission is confidential and Consumer Law Group agrees to protect this information against unauthorized use, publication or disclosure.
